Camp Okotoks is a Christian summer camp, located in a wooded area along the Sheep River, 25 miles south of Calgary. We offer an enjoyable camping experience for children, and youth from the city of Calgary as well as the surrounding area. As a church-based camp, we are staffed by Christian volunteers, who are selected for their skill and interest in young people.
CAMP OKOTOKS ANNOUNCEMENT SUMMER CAMP IS DEFINITELY ON FOR 2008 at the existing camp location; HOWEVER, the Board has entered into a conditional agreement for the sale of the land. IF the conditions are removed by the buyer [no later than July 30/08] then the sale will close January 15, 2009. The agreement allows Camp to remove any buildings from the land, for future use. This development will enable the Board to purchase a new location more easily and possibly hold camp at a new location by the summer of 2009. Pray for God’s blessing and direction for Camp.
